When your amazing friend Lauren Kurc from Vancouver asks you to do a photoshoot using no flowers and just plants, you say hell yes.
This beautiful and simple shoot in a light-filled studio here in the city took my breath away.
I loved spending the day with Lauren, and with our friend Ashley Readings ( on hair and Makeup). The beautiful lingerie is from a company called Siobhan Barrett Lingerie from Vancouver and I am just in love with how simple and beautiful it was on our beautiful model.
Take a peek at this plant styled shoot from last Spring, we always love collaborating on interesting shoots like this.

Almost a year ago, my friend and amazing past employee and colleague Alysia of Begonia Moon decided to take a trip to NYC and enrol in an afternoon workshop with flower ICONS Nicolette Camille and Sarah Ryhanen at Little Flower School.
I had been pining over this session for years, and so many people I know had taken sessions with Little Flower School, so we decided to wait no longer and sprang for the tickets!
Needless to say, we spent a few extra days in BK going to the Chelsea Flower Market and Flower District. We had an amazing time and designed with some really, really incredible flowers. Here are ur beautiful images from GENTYL + HYERS.
I would absolutely LOVE to take this workshop again and again and again, and immerse myself in these incredible ladies world.
It was surreal, and nothing short of incredible.

When our friends at Mango Studios ask us to send them a bouquet to shoot with, we say YES!
This one was an impromptu shoot from last year that these lovely folks styled up beautifully in their studio.
Always a pleasure, my amazing friends!

This photoshoot was one that I absolutely loved being a part of.
The feel was 1970's love, meets grunge rock and roll.
Think leather, studs and tye dye with vintage dresses, gold accents and lots of foliages, black candles, guitars and Jack Daniels bottles.
